Arrangements of a trip to Germany for getting to know the culture as well as participation at the ITB in Berlin for Gopal Basnett Chettri/Adarsh Tours/Sikkim

Germany tour
It was my first time in Germany and I attended  ITB Berlin which was held during 7-11th March 2017 with my friend Nana Ziesche, the owner of Yangla e.K. After completing that international travel fair, Nana showed me around Berlin sightseeing for few days and we moved towards her beautiful hometown Ruhpolding, 7 hrs drive from Berlin. Her home was very nice it has beautiful landscape and small mountain view can be seen from her room. I spent a few days at her home and explored around the village. It was a great day hiking into the small mountains and we had lots of fun together. I would like to thank Nana for showing me all the beautiful places in Germany and the overland drive from Berlin – Ruhpolding and the daytrip to near Salzburg at the border of Germany was great, too. After that we drove to Freiburg, on the way we visited beautiful Castle Neuschwanstein. At Freiburg we stayed at her friend’s house and we spend few days and explored nearby places. After that we drove towards Hamburg to her parents house. In Hamburg we spend few days with her family, her Mum and dad. It was great spending time with them and it was a beautiful place to visit and it gave me lot of new experience about German culture and lifestyle, it was really great trip for me.
Once again thank you my dear friend Nana Ziesche for your nice hospitality.
Regards

Arrangements of two trips to Germany for getting to know the culture as well as a visit of the ITB in Berlin for Tundup Dorjey/Overland Escape/Ladakh

“I have travelled to Germany twice and both the visits were arranged by Nana Ziesche. She had organised my stay and travel around. Since I am very much foody, I had informed Nana that I like all kinds of food and there is no food which I do not like. During my visit she tried to serve me all kinds of food usually Germans do not like and there were many German friends who were surprised how I could like a food which they never liked. But for me with a Business Trip and Travelling, it was food tasting trip, too. Thanks to Nana for such a memorable trip to Germany because I got an opportunity to travel around by myself through Bus and train, trekking and walking around, travelled around Germany with Nana in her car, got an opportunity to meet many people. I am waiting for my next trip to Germany may be during  Christmas.”

Arrangements of a trip to Germany for participating at the fairtrade fair in Stuttgart with afterwards tour to get to know Germany, german people and marketing for Nawang Phuntsog/Nomadic Woollen Mills/Ladakh

“I met Nana in Ladakh at my store for cashmere-wool-items seven years back. She brought lots of her clients and friends to my store to bring back some local products. She always appreciates my work. This year she helped me to participate in an exhibition in Germany which was my first exhibition outside India and it was a wonderful experience. She arranged my stay in Germany, it was well organised. We travelled together several places in Germany in her car and made many wonderful friends. All of her friends are so nice, I never felt I am away from home. I did not know much about her before this, I learned many things about her life during my stay at her home in Ruhpolding. Besides her travel business she is doing many social welfare works. One of her project in Ladakh is Kamerakidz, where childrens in zanskar are given digital cameras to explore their world through lenses. I loved this project the most. I remember when I was young one my wishes was to have a camera. I am going back to her home again with my whole family. She really is a wonderful lady.

Arranging a hike on Grünstein nearby Berchtesgaden via couchsurfing for Syamantak from Kolkata/Montreal, who stayed in Salzburg

“Nana and I went on a wonderful hike on the Bavarian Alps at Berchtesgaden. From picking up a very appropriate trail, to packing a the most delicious snacks, a traditional lunch of potato salad and hot coffee to share, Nana made the experience perfect. Throughout the hike, she shared many interesting stories from her travels in India (Ladakh in particular), and we also talked about Germany, India, and about cultures and their differences. After a 3.5 hr ascent, we were rewarded with one of the most beautiful views: with snow-clad mountains, green hills and meadows, and an emerald blue lake. It was a gorgeous day, and Nana’s prior research on the hike, her meticulous planning, and her cheerful nature made it one of my best days in Bavaria. She was even kind enough to lent me her sticks when I struggled with the decent. Thank you Nana for the perfect hike! Hope to see you again :)”
